On August 31, 2000 the Le Skratch establishments and close family members were devasted by the loss of Sarantos Retsinas, beloved husband to Panayota Retsinas and beloved father to Fotini, Caterina and Anna-Maria Retsinas, brother and brother-in-law to the Le Skratch owners and founder of the Quebec Dart Players Organization (Q.D.P.O.).
Sarantos Retsinas will always be remembered as a quiet man who was well known amongst many communities and individuals for his generous acts towards the needy and his thoughtfulness towards friends. He was a kind person who always had a high regard for others. His passion for darts and his loyalty to his work earned him an insurmountable respect by friends and family members alike. He was a warm, caring person who always gave his soul to his family, friends and the Le Skratch establishments. His genuine dedication will always be remembered and appreciated. |

Sarantos Retsinas was responsible for creating The Le Skratch Quebec Dart Players' Open $25.000.00 Dart Tournament. Since his death, the Le Skratch founders have continued his legacy by renaming this organization as The Sarantos Retsinas Memorial Dart Tournament and continuously support and encourage the growth of this successful event.
The Le Skratch team will always remember Sarantos with his warm smile that always reflected the kindness in his heart. His passion and dream will continue…
